Well a couple of odd days of sunshine have made all the difference here in Surrey and the spring flowers are definitely poking through and so many of my shrubs are getting their new leaves too. So what better time for my new Tim Holtz Wallflower pad to come through and what a fabulous collage pack it is too.
My first make with these papers is a card. I used this 12 x 12 sheet first and trimmed it down to fit an A5 card, cutting the left hand portion into two, the top piece to create the background and the bird piece to add the focal image and of course they go together perfectly.
I also bought the thrift shop ephemera pack and used this gorgeous vintage photo and added some film strip to go with it.
Of course I had to add some flowers and greenery and used two of Tim's strip dies plus another piece from the ephemera pack and a sentiment that is computer generated. The memo pin keeps it in place.
The collage designs of these papers really lend themselves to making beautiful cards and I can see me using this one quite a lot.
Have a great week and I hope you enjoy some card making time.
