I was lucky enough to take advantage of the Advent offers over at Country View Crafts during December and treated myself to a new stamp set. I actually bought this set for the cutlery set!
I started by adding two blue Distress Inks and then misted them with water. Once I dry I added the inks again and then lightly sprayed the tag with white ink. To finish off the background I added brown ink to the edges.
I die cut a branch from grungepaper and inked the branch with Distress Ink and the buds with a Distress Marker. I stamped the images onto tissue paper and coloured them with Distress Markers. Then I added text from the stamp set and paint circles and lines to break up the tag a little. My final flourish was to add a tiny drop of Liquid Pearls for the bird's eye!
