Linen Love

Good morning everyone!

Jennie here today sharing my first project of the year - a small 4 x 4 card for someone like me with a love of linen.

I loved the background technique which Tim Holtz introduced us to on his December 2015 Tag but as I didn't have any hessian I sprayed my inks onto linen and loved the effect.

Click the link HERE to go to Tim's tutorial for the technique.

I used the flourish stencil and Peeled Paint Distress Spray Stain on my linen for this card.
A light spray is all that is needed.

I used the same Spray Stain to colour this little frame - the paper has taken up the inks quite randomly but I quite like the effect. Those fabulous vintage Photo Booth pictures fit the frame perfectly.

I stamped a small sentiment and added a little "bunched up" lace to the back. The Cosmic Shimmer Glue certainly glues fabric like this very well.

I layered all my pieces onto some light Kraft Cardstock and added a small pin to add to the vintage textile feel to the card.

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you are having a great crafting week!
