Menagerie & imagination

Today it's a birhday card using Tim's new 'Menagerie' papers and lots of his dies...

Having chosen the paper I wanted to use it got a watery wash of Picket fence Distress paint to shabby it down a tad. Both the paper and the kraft card background got a thin edging of Black soot Distress ink:

I had an idea of what I wanted to put together on the card so these items were cut out, edged and glued together. The tape measure was inked and edged too:

Remnant rubs are soooo useful - the word 'imagination' was used for the label which was attached with some vintage brads. The rest of the die cuts are starting to be assembled:

  1. I love all the elements you have used for this card Chris and the fabulous grungy distressed style. Xx

  2. The backing paper, toned down looks amazing and the rub on 'imagination' has the look of embossing. I love how you have incorporated so many dies in this wonderful card - especially that new lattice one. Anne x

  3. So many great details and ideas, Chris! The dress form is adorable and I am going to need those frameworks!!! Love this!

  4. Fabulous, Chris - all the elements look brilliant against that beautiful background paper.

Love the trellis die, not seen this, looks amazing :-)

  6. All I will say is protect it up. This site is really crucial in a period when everyone just needs to talk about how several guys and ladies someones cheated on the spouse with. I indicate, thank for bringing intelligence once more to world-wide-web,Cccam Server its been sorely missed. Fantastic stuff. Please keep it coming!
