Wallflower card - Dare to Dream

I just love the Wallflower paper stash by Tim Holtz and find I can't stop using it, probably because it is perfect for Spring creations. So over the next few weeks I though I would bring you a selection of cards with all of them made from just one sheet of the 12 x 12 paper - it really is a good deal for card making.

This is card one. The colours have been taken from the background and are of course very Spring-like.

These are all collage papers and have that very vintage feel to them.

I started to make and gather embellishments that I thought would go together in a design. The weathered clock has been textured and aged by coating it in peeled paint distress embossing powder and then inked with walnut stain.

The little corner is from my supplies and has been aged by dabbing it with mowed lawn, broken china and forest moss distress paint then aquamarine treasure gold over the top.

the rabbit was die-cut from a scrap of Tim Holtz paper and I added some grass by using the tapered fringe strip die and cut it shorter to fit.

The flowers are from my huge box that I keep adding to but don't use!!!!!

I am sure you could substitute different papers and similar elements to recreate this design, please let me know if you try it.

Have a great weekend.

hugs Brenda xx
