Upcycled packaging…

Hello folks!

Today I’m demonstrating just how packaging can be recycled and upcycled into useful backgrounds and embellishments for our crafting.  The packaging I’m using came as the internal card base for a pair of sewing scissors given to me by a friend. The card was folded with a picture front and back so I’ve used it to make two cards…

It's well worth keeping your eyes open for useful packaging as, hopefully, these cards show.  Perhaps have a look around the house to see what you might be able to use if you're short on inspiration some day.

A Prima thank you (and a bargain!)

 Happy Wednesday all!  We’re mid-week, not long ’til the weekend and time for some COLOUR! [G]

Some of you will know that I love and work with strong colours in the main and today is no exception.  Purple happens to be one of my favourite colours so perhaps it won’t surprise you that my thank you card features it in abundance.  (TIP:  The Sizzix (Prima designed) floral die, called 'Flora', has now been retired but it is SO useful!   It's a Bigz 'L' die and Susan has it in the sale at just £12.99 so grab it before it’s gone or the sale ends!)

You might not be a fan of purple so you can make this in any colour you choose, it suits most occasions too!
