Cards for men - a challenge for a lot of us - including me!
I did a project recently using these images in a shadow box (link here) - so it inspired me to make some cards a long a similar theme.
I stamped my images and greetings in archival ink before adding distress inks with the applicator tool or cut and dry foam. I then flicked and spritzed with a little water.
Once dry I added vintage photo ink around the edges of the images, greetings and some die cuts.
Each of the cards is on a kraft card base and the matt layers use kraft core - with a little of the surface sanded away. For the background layer I took some patterned paper from Tim Holtz range - but anything masculine will do or you could make your own, again I added a little ink around the edges.
To finish my cards I added a cog or game spinner for a little added feature.
Thanks for visiting us today.
