Fresco Paint Greeting Cards

Addicted to Art - Fresco Paints and Layering Stencils

I saw some cards recently by Emma Godfrey from PaperArtsy using Fresco paints to create a masterboard as the foundation of the designs. I liked this idea - so today am sharing my own version. (Thanks Emma!)


1. Take a few chalk paints and a credit card and begin layering up your card - I started with a sheet of A4.

2. When you are happy - and it doesn't need to be a masterpiece - cut the card into the sizes you require. My finished cards are 6" square (15cm sq.). I wanted to make them all slightely different so now began adding additional paints using cut and dry foam through layering stencils.

 3. Then I added a little stamping, some random lines with the edge of my credit card and some circles with a bottle top. The yellow dots are with my finger.

4. Add some scribbles to highlight and add interest.

I then layered up my cards and added some greetings (these were done on my computer).
