Die cut or mask?

Morning all! Well when I was playing with my gelli plate again recently I decided to have a go at making a mask using one of my Tim Holtz dies. So I grabbed a bit of acetate packaging that I'd saved, as you do, and ran it through the Big Shot with the umbrella man die (picture was taken after I'd used it!).....

 

Then using various different colours of Distress Paint ( you could use just normal acrylic paint but I fancied trying out the distress paints) on my gelli plate I created this print...

Then I cut some leaves using the Garden Greens and Spring Greenery dies and some flowers using the Bitty Blossoms die, stamped a sentiment  and assembled it all together to make a card.

Definitely going to be using my dies to create masks again.
