Merry Christmas!

Christmas excitement has really started in our house! Advent calendars have begun and requests for the decorations to come out of hibernation are getting louder! (we'll decorate the house on 13th December so they have a while to wait!)  I thought I'd make a decoration to keep the excitement at bay! This could easily be a card or party invite!
I started by painting a mdf board red.
I then stamped a background stamp and then sanded the whole board down.
Then I painted a piece of card green; stamped the Christmas Tree stamp and then cut it out. I then added brown Distress Ink on the edges and the edges of the board.
I stamped the star again on some card I'd covered with gold Treasure Gold and cut it out.
The packages were die cut and painted with the same paint as before. I added Distress Ink to the edges. The tag was stamped, with the snowflake and then cut out. I added a little more red paint (with the other end of my paint brush!) I then added a few trinkets and it was complete! I hope your Christmas preparations are going well and thank you, as always, for popping by!

  1. Love the bold graphics of this, and fantastic black text against the weathered background. Such a cool little tag on the gifts too.
