Hi Everyone it's Brenda here. If you haven't seen the focus the last Country View Crafts Workshop of the year and you love making things for Christmas, I am sure you'll want to see what is in store for class participants.
We will be making a fabulous Winter Wonderland shadow box packed full of Tim Holtz elements to create a wintry scene. The box itself is deep enough to hold a 3D display and we will use a variety of materials to explore textures to create the background, the carollers and snowman and alter the bottle brush trees.
The shadow box frame is just as important as the inside and I will show you how to
alter it so that it takes on a more vintage shabby appeal and changes from a modern and brand new item to a worn, aged and much loved piece of home decor.
Come and have some fun while we 'play' with gesso, tissue tape, Fresco Finish paints and stamps, creating your very own Winter Wonderland to take home with you.
