Yes, It is Nearly Time for Santa !!!

My little grandson has been asking for the last few weeks if it is nearly time for Santa so with that in mind I thought I would make this little advent decoration using the Pocket Watch Clock Die.

I die cut a backing from grey cardstock and a front from Core'dinations Sandable Cardstock.  I used a Spellbinders circle die to cut out the centre and then layered all three with this lovely Santa photograph from the Merriment Paper Stack, but any vintage Santa photo would work well.  I coloured the photograph a little with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and blended some Gathered Twigs around the clock.

I made the flowers using the Tattered Pinecone Die (one day I will use it to make a pinecone!!) and added a little sparkle with some Crystal Stickles.

I layered the flowers with some scrim and the leaf cut from the Tattered Pinecone Die again using the sandable Core'dinations cardstock and I used Festive Berries Distress Ink to colour the cream seam binding.

A quick and effective decoration for either advent or Christmas!
