Hi everyone, I am a bit late getting this post up today but I want to give you some information about the next workshop I am doing for Country View Crafts which will be on Thursday 9th October.
We have already had some very successful days this year covering some useful techniques, playing with inks, sprays and paints and making a variety of projects.
The next workshop is available for purchase on the CVC shop website and we will be making a beautiful and useful vintage style book box, originally designed by our very own Chris Warner. It is a fabulous shape and is a great way of storing those very special family treasures, photo’s and memorabilia.
I will take you through the construction from scratch
using mountboard and card, choosing from coordinating, double-sided, Basic Grey ‘Sweet threads’ papers and you will choose which side of each to
mix, match and use. There will be a selection of Tim Holtz stamps, die
cuts and some Idea-ology elements from which to decide how you want to decorate
and embellish your project.

All workshops are designed for crafters at all levels of experience and this instructive day will allow you to make the finished result truly your own!
The workshop will be held in Flitwick Village Hall, Dunstable Road,
Flitwick, Bedfordshire MK45 1HP. We decided on a venue just off of J12
of the M1 which makes it convenient for those travelling by car from the
east, west, north and south and is accessible in all weathers. Additionally,
Flitwick has an excellent rail service into London and through the south to
Surrey and Brighton. From the north, travellers can commute to Bedford
and change. The hall is a short walk from the station. People have attended from as far away as North Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex (near the coast) and Nottingham as well as more local towns and villages.

Country View Crafts will be at the venue so you will be able to buy
products that you’ve used and liked but Susan cannot bring the
whole shop, so if there are any items you would like her to bring for you on
the day please place your order in the shop before October 7th and select
the pay by telephone option. When you call to pay please ask Susan to
bring the items with her and you will also receive a 10% discount off of her already very keen prices

We'd love to see you on the 9th October if you can make it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
