Memories Box Workshop

Good morning everyone, I thought it would be fun to share some of the photos from the Memories Box workshop that we held on Thursday in Flitwick, Bedfordshire. You might like to have your Sunday morning cuppa in hand to view them.

Chris had designed this fabulous book box that will hold special photos or memorabilia.

It opens to reveal the box (covered with flaps) and a tag pocket.

Under the flaps is the hidey hole in which you can keep your little treasures.

This has been cleverly designed to stand and to close ….

…. and is fully constructed from scratch using card, mountboard and papers

The venue we use is beautifully light and airy, perfect for crafting…

… and we take along lots of materials and tools for you to use.

There’s lots of space to sit and work at tables ..

…. and plenty of refreshments during the day.

It always amazes me how a group of crafters all using the same products and design can finish with something so different. They were all so beautifully made, unique and personal to each individual. Well done ladies you did a magnificent job.

    Fabulous day, really do recommend the CVC workshops run by Brenda. Everything is very well prepared with detailed instructions and visual aids. It's a full day with lots to do but time for fun and chatting.
    A great design by Chris too.... Still not quite finished mine, yes probably too much time talking on the day, those that know me won't be surprised to hear. Nikki xxx

    It was a brilliant day Brenda, your teaching is second to none and it was such fun being amongst like minded crafters. I have finished my box and will take some photos later and try to put it up on my blog very soon. I also love the venue at Flitwick it is so light and airy. Have a lovely weekend and thanks again xx
