Using Every Little Scrap!

I don't know about you but those Wallflower Stash papers are just FABULOUS and I can't bear to throw even the smallest piece away. So …. I am sharing a tag today made from my scraps!

I covered my tag with all my little bits using Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium - I
like to tear the edges it makes them sit a bit better together.

Added some tissue tape here and there.

Covered the whole lot with a wash of gesso and then went back in with
a baby wipe to take some off here and there.

Once this was dried I added some Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste - I used the
Crackle Texture Paste, but Embossing Paste will give a lovely effect too.

Once that dried I used some sprays from drawer - now I was bit naughty
here as I didn't take a note of the ones I used and I have some old Glimmer Mist
bottles with no much in them! But I definitely used
a home-made spray from the Vintage Photo Re-inker.

Whilst everything was drying I fussy cut the rose, leaf and birds and edged them with Vintage Photo
Distress Ink. I also stamped a sentiment from the Simple Sayings Stamp Set with Vintage Photo
DI on some papers which had already had a coat of Gesso - an experiment
which went a wrong!

I then added my bits and pieces to the tag using some foam mounts for the
rose and the birds.  I just LOVE that rose!

Thank you for joining me today and I would love to know what you do with your scraps!
