Hi everyone - Nikki here with a quick Christmas card. Hopefully you are all prepared for whatever celebrations you have planned this week. Now I didn't intend to make the snowman look embarrassed or hot I just wanted to play with my new Plum Archival ink!
I started by stamping the star from the Tim Holtz Alterations Retro Christmas stamp and framelit set (with Plum archival) and then embossing my card with a dotty folder from my stash. I added a little aged mahogany DI around the edge and to highlight the texture.
I then stamped my snowman (from Tim Holtz Christmas blueprints set) a couple of times and fussy cut the body from one stamp and the hat, arms and scarf from another. I also cut out the 'snowman' text so I that I could add this in a different place. Again I added a little ink around the edge of his body.
I added some ink to the hat, scarf and arms and then embossed with clear powder, before attaching them back to the snowman.
I added all the elements to my card and then added the little bauble from the Retro Christmas set. This was also fussy cut and embossed.
I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas!
Nikki
